Room 104
Forgiven and Set Free
A post-abortion support and Bible study
For most individuals, abortion is a closely held secret. Rarely do we talk about this subject with family or friends.  Many women remain silent  because of feelings such as: fear of judgment, guilt, shame and grief. The bondage of shame keeps women silent.

Good news -there is hope! Room 104 is a faith-based Bible study/support group especially designed for Christian women suffering from post-abortion pain. The study developed from a desire and need for the church to have a support group for women seeking healing from abortion but unable to find it.

Years later, the study is now offered and accepted by several churches and women’s ministries who acknowledge that abortion can be a emotionally and spiritually damaging event that can keep women in bondage for a lifetime.

The study uses the book Forgiven and Set Free by Linda Cochrane and is conducted in a comfortable, small-group setting. The study is 9-weeks long and meets weekly. Information on the current or upcoming group can be found on the Schedule page.
Volunteers and Facilitators are needed!!

Volunteers are needed to help facilitate groups (training and application required), be prayer partners for women in group, provide refreshments, child care, help to make copies of material and to help promote the next class start-up date.

Facilitator training: Facilitator training is available for your group. A fee is involved to bring training to your church or organization. Contact Khristey for more details.

A city-wide training session will be available in February 2011 for anyone with a desire to learn how to lead a small group as a facilitator with Room 104.
In visiting this site, you have taken a step of great courage. My prayer is that this will not be your first and only step but the beginning of a journey that will lead to restoration and healing.

Post-abortion Stress Syndrome (PASS) is a form of post-traumatic stress disorder and can affect more than just the woman. It can affect the fathers of these children, grand-parents, aunts, uncles and even friends who felt responsible for supporting the abortion or perhaps grieving the loss of the child.  It could be that you are not post-abortive but are trying to help your spouse or a friend.
The cost is $10.00 for the material and book.

To register confidentially, see the Contact Info page.
